Begola Wetland Walk and Talk
Learn about Begola’s geology and history, flora and fauna – especially the birds who travel here annually from Siberia. Finish with a cuppa and some morning tea on the southern side of the lake.
When: Sunday 29th March
Location: meet at the Tuckfield St end of the Begola Wetland reserve, in the car park before Ocean Throughway, Ocean Grove.
What to bring: hat, sunscreen, clothing suitable for the weather; bring binoculars if you have them.
This walk and talk is part of the Geelong Nature Forum – a community event inspiring people to appreciate Geelong’s wonderful environment and natural areas.
